Source discipline
Every claim in a Pilot Method guide is written against a primary source — the regulation, the ACS, an FAA handbook or advisory circular, or the aircraft's own AFM/POH.
- Aircraft-specific numbers, speeds, limitations and procedures come from your AFM/POH, never from a study guide.
- Regulations change. The controlling text is the current eCFR, and the guide names the section so you can check it.
- The ACS is used to audit coverage. It does not dictate the order you learn in.
- A study guide is preparation material. It is not an endorsement, an approval, or a substitute for instruction.
