What do I get beyond the free FAA handbooks?
FAA handbooks are valuable free references. A TPM course gives you an ordered learning path, visual explanations, practice with feedback, progress tracking, and aircraft handling and care lessons at the relevant stages. A one-time course purchase also includes its Written Prep bank and study guide.
Should I buy a course or choose All Access?
Choose a course if you want lifetime access to one course and its guide, plus 24 months of its Written Prep bank, with no recurring charge. Choose All Access if you want all three published courses, all three banks and all seven guides for $39.99 per month while subscribed. It renews monthly until you cancel. Online classes are paid separately.
What happens if I cancel my membership?
Cancel renewal in Account → Membership before your next renewal. Access continues through your paid period, then online course access, Written Prep, guide downloads and updates end. Guide copies downloaded during an unrefunded paid period may be kept for your personal reference. Separate purchases and saved learning records remain.
Can I request a refund for a course?
You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase if all three conditions are met: your recorded course completion is below 80%; you have not requested final instructor review or a knowledge-test endorsement; and no completion credential has been issued. The same conditions apply to the guide and Written Prep included with that course.
What are the refund terms for other purchases?
PDF guides and PDF-only bundles have a 7-calendar-day refund window, even if opened or downloaded. Standalone Written Prep has a 14-calendar-day window without usage limits. The first membership payment has a 14-calendar-day window without usage limits; renewals are not automatically refunded or prorated. A refund request does not cancel renewal. These windows run from purchase, and your non-waivable rights remain.
Is an instructor endorsement included automatically?
Course students can request knowledge-test endorsement review after the required course work. An authorized instructor reviews preparation and eligibility before issuing an endorsement. Buying a course or membership does not automatically issue one. Official examination fees and flight instruction are separate.
Can I try the tools before buying?
Yes. Explore ATC Lab, Checkride Preparation, Visual Briefings and Pilot Tools for free. Create a free account when a tool asks you to save your work. Buying a course or membership is a separate choice.
